Lomi massage
Lomi Lomi is the traditional Hawaiian massage performed by Kahunas, (wise ones) in Hawaii. Lomi Lomi is a
body of knowledge in tune with nature and our bodies natural rythmns. Lomi Lomi uses the native plants, sea salt,water, and
spirit to restore balance for each individuals needs. Lomi Lomi is full of love for the body. Each session starts with the
calling in of anscestors, kahunas and spirit guides through traditional chants sang by the kahuna. The "uke" or client, then
steams in a suana to prepare for the massage. The massage uses long forearm strokes as well as specific techniques for problem
areas such as TMJ, carpel tunnel syndrome, sciatic nerve impingement etc.. Please allow 90 minutes to two hours for this treatment.
